"For God so loved the world that He gave His Only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Pastor Tim with his lovely wife Marsha
"We would be blessed to have you in our Church service. We hope you will sense the warmth and friendliness of our church family. If you do not have a church you call 'home', we invite you to come back to any of our services and be a part of our fellowship."
A personal relationship with Christ is the first goal for each of us.
Times will come when the Holy Spirit will impress you with the need to offer an invitation.
If you are concerned about how to give an invitation, here is a basic plan.
Ask your participants to bow their heads in prayer.
Briefly review with them the simple plan of salvation:
(1) God loves them,
(2) Christ died for them, and
(3) he will save all who repent and believe in him.
Challenge them to invite Christ into their hearts.
Then lead them in a prayer of faith.
Ask them to make the words of prayer the desire of their hearts: “Lord Jesus, I come to you confessing my sins. I want to turn from my sins and turn to you. I invite you to come into my heart and change me from within. Please accept me as your child, and help me to follow you all the days of my life. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
After the prayer, let them know the importance of making a public profession of their new faith in Christ.
Revelation 22:12-21(TNIV) “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what they have done.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.
Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.” The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let those who hear say, “Come!” Let those who are thirsty come; and let all who wish take the free gift of the water of life.
I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If any one of you adds anything to them, God will add to you the plagues described in this scroll.
And if any one of you takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from you your share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.
